Built for frequent moves and clean floors
Polyurethane is known for its resistance to abrasion. Air casters with a polyurethane membrane wear slowly, so they last longer in equipment that moves often, and they shed very little material, which matters in cleanrooms and other sterile areas.
They are the usual choice for permanent installation under machines and tooling. The caster floats steadily without rising too far, and it needs less air than a comparable design. Sizes run from 8 to 36 in, for loads of 550 to 22,000 lbs at up to 30 psi.
