Which system fits?
Load module systems are portable sets of air casters, support plates, control unit and hoses that you place under the load and take away again. They suit one-off moves and equipment that travels between locations.
Embedded air caster systems are built into the machine, tooling or production line itself, so it can be floated to a new position whenever you need. If you are unsure, send us the weight, footprint and floor type and we will advise.
How the air film is created
Compressed air reaches the air control unit through the supply hose. The unit divides it between the casters through the distribution hoses, so every caster gets the pressure it needs.
Inside each caster the air inflates the membrane and lifts the load, then escapes as a thin film between the caster and the floor. Friction all but disappears, so even a very heavy load can be moved with little effort.
